Jeuveau™ is the newest premium neurotoxin on the market and is manufactured with the advanced technology called Hi-Pure. Jeuveau™ is injected into the glabellar lines, or “frown lines”, to reduce moderate to severe wrinkles with results showing between 24 hours to a week.
Jeuveau™ is FDA approved in the United States and Revive is one of the first providers in San Diego to carry the anti-wrinkle product.
It is recommended you make your Jeuveau Treatments as least two weeks in advance of any special events to ensure the best possible result.
You’ll be asked to avoid alcohol and caffeine at least 48 hours prior to treatment to avoid increased bruising or bleeding.
You’ll be asked to confirm it has been at least 2 weeks since your last facial or peel.
Treatments usually last around 15-30 minutes.
The Jeuveau treatment is injected using a very thin needle, expect a mild pinch as the treatment occurs.
Depending on the number of treatments, you can expect 3 to 10 injections per treatment area.
It takes around 3-7 days for full treatment effects to appear.
You should avoid laying down, any strenuous exercise, and manipulation of the area several hours post treatment.
Regular treatment is necessary to maintain results, optimally done prior to the Jeuveau wearing off.
Most individuals are candidates with a few exceptions:
Jeuveau should not be used for those that have an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product such as Botox or Dysport; have a skin infection at the planned injection site; are pregnant or nursing or are under the age of 18.
For further information, a complimentary consultation is recommended.
