We asked Registered Nurse Anna a few questions about her and her role at Revive, keep reading to learn more about her!
Why did you become an aesthetics nurse and what treatments do you specialize in?
I became an aesthetics nurse because of the science, when you look good you feel good, and working as an aesthetics nurse, I help clients feel good about themselves. Why do we get Botox, lasers, or skincare products? The same reason we get our nails done, get that spray tan or work out, to give our confidence a little boost. This boost leads us to be happier and more productive every day, and I am thrilled I get to help people reach their full potential. My specialty is lips and liquid facelifts!
What do you love about Revive?
I love Revive because the customer truly comes first! I’ve worked in this industry for over 10 years, and I’ve seen how many others only focus on making money and getting customers in the door. It’s the complete opposite at Revive. The upper management and providers are focused on the client’s goals, providing great outcomes, and making sure clients are happy! Because of this focus on clients, I believe Revive has the reputation we do in San Diego. People want to feel cared for – not just another buck or number!
Which product do you use the most?
SkinCeuticals SPF 50+ and Vitamin C (both in the morning) are tied neck and neck since I use them both every single day!
What’s a piece of med spa advice that you wished you learned sooner?
Sometimes less is more (fillers, botox, skincare routine, etc.)
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Staying active – hiking, biking, walking, working out, anything outdoors in beautiful SD is great with me. Bodies aren’t meant to stay static!
What is something not a lot of people know about you?
I love acro yoga – I can hold a handstand in the air balancing on a guy’s hands. I always saw these cool people doing tricks on Wednesdays at the grassy area by the OB Farmers Market, and one day I said that I want to be able to do that, so I went for a year straight and learned how to do it!
