We asked Registered Nurse Hayley Lusti about her and her role at Revive and we would love for you to get to know more about her!
What made you want to become an aesthetics nurse?
Ever since I was young, I have been interested in skincare and the industry. My mother was a large influence on me growing up and emphasized the need for skin protection. I knew that is what I wanted to do when going to nursing school, but I wanted to keep an open mind to other opportunities. After school, I knew that aesthetics was the place for me, and the career that I was determined to be a part of. I love that I can help people feel beautiful on the outside to match their beauty on the inside.
What treatments do you specialize in?
I specialize in neurotoxins, fillers, and lasers. My favorite treatment to perform is lip filler and lip flips.
What’s your favorite skincare product and why?
One of my favorite skincare products is SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic. That product has done wonders for my skin and especially keeps my skin hydrated. I recently just tried the Obagi Tinted Sunscreen, and I love it.
What do you love about working at Revive?
I love working at Revive because of my coworkers. Everyone is very hospitable, friendly, and encouraging, which was super helpful starting out at a new place. I appreciate that everyone is there for each other and the a strong sense of teamwork.
What do you wish you would’ve known about skincare/beauty when you were younger?
My dermatologist once told me that at the age of 18, we have already had 80% of our lifetime skin damage. I wish I knew that more when I was younger and did not give my family such a hard time when they were trying to cover me with sunscreen as a kid.
What is something that not a lot of people know about you?
I love playing beach volleyball and used to play competitively.
