We asked Registered Nurse Laura Norris about her and her role at Revive and we would love for you to get to know more about her!
What made you want to become an aesthetics nurse?
I’ve always been fascinated with features that society recognizes or associates with beauty. After receiving my first lip filler at 23, I knew aesthetics is what I wanted to do with my nursing career. I want to enhance other people’s beauty so that they feel as confident in their skin as I did. We all deserve to love ourselves.
What treatments do you specialize in?
I do a lot of the treatments that we offer at Revive, but filler (specifically lips) is my favorite. Morpheus is also a game changer in this industry and I’m loving the results my clients are seeing.
What’s your favorite skincare product and why?
My favorite skincare product is Alastin Skin Restorative Complex. I love the way it feels and the science in the Trihex technology.
What do you love about working at Revive?
I love the people that I work with. They are so warm and inviting. I love all the clients that sit in my chair as well. It’s because of my clients that I’m able to do something that I love.
What do you wish you would’ve known about skincare/beauty when you were younger?
I hate to admit this, but I wish I would have known that a bar of Dove or Olay soap is not appropriate for your face. I also wish I would’ve known the importance of sunscreen use DAILY.
What is something that not a lot of people know about you?
I love art. That may be a given with what I do, but I love doing crafts and DIY projects. I made a lot of my daughter’s clothes when she was little. I also love cooking and baking.
