When Should I Start Getting Botox at Revive?

Your guide to preventative Botox

Where is the best place to get preventative Botox injections?

“Age begins to show on the forehead, in between the eyebrows (glabella) and the area around the eyes (commonly referred to as crows feet),” says RN Susan Brenner of Revive Med Spa in San Diego. “When treating younger patients, I always recommend focusing on these areas where faint lines usually appear.”

How many units of Botox do you get?

We always stress that every face is different and every person ages differently. The range we mostly see for preventative Botox is 10-25 units. Keep in mind you will work directly with one of our Revive Med Spa Providers for a recommended treatment plan.

How much does Botox cost?

Botox is charged as price per unit and can widely range depending on how many units you get and the areas you choose to treat. Revive Med Spa charges $12/unit and our Revive Radiance Members pay $11/unit.

What are the side effects of Botox?

The most common side effects are mild headaches immediately following the injection and potentially light bruising.

Is Botox painful?

Most clients report mild discomfort and compare it to feeling like little pinpricks. We always give an ice pack to numb the area prior to injections.

Will I see immediate results from Botox?

Botox begins to “kick in” in 1-5 days and 10-14 days to see the full effects of your treatment. We always book a follow-up appointment two weeks after your treatment (especially if it’s your first time) so we can determine if “touch-ups” are needed.

How long does Botox last?

Botox typically lasts for 3-4 months, and every person will metabolize the product differently.
