Dr. Vishal Verma is originally from Minnesota and has spent the last decade in San Diego. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Medicine in the prestigious accelerated 6-year Honors Program in Medicine (HPME) at the University of Miami. He continued his medical training with a residency in Radiology at the University of Chicago and an MRI fellowship at the University of California – San Diego. His passion and talent for aesthetics led to the creation of a truly unique salon and spa concept incorporating both medical and non-medical beauty services. Revive is recognized as one of the top salons and medical spas nationally. Dr. Verma strives to stay at the forefront of aesthetic medicine. He has served on the Allergan Medical Aesthetics Advisory Board, which serves to provide leadership in partnering for the future of aesthetics and focuses on future innovations in products and programs.

Dr. Vinita Parekh Verma was born and raised in Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. After practicing traditional dentistry for 8 years, she helped create Revive Salon & Spa. Beyond the scope of her professional training, Vinita has always had a strong interest for fashion, beauty trends and marketing. She thoroughly enjoys her interaction with clients and fellow colleagues both in person and via social media outlets.

Dr. Balikian is an experienced, double board certified, facial plastic surgeon. He is double board certified both in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Balikian belongs to a very select group of elite cosmetic surgeons with at least six years of specialized surgical training exclusively in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. Dr. Balikian graduated from Boston University Medical School, where he was honored and elected to the AOA Medical Honors Society for graduating in the top ten percent of graduating physicians. He has been enthusiastically involved with charitable foundations such as the “Face to Face” program, which provides victims of domestic violence pro-bono cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Angelica Camargo has been a nurse since 1996. In 2003 she received her Master’s Degree/FNP Certificate in Nursing from UCSD/SDSU. Angelica has been working in Family Health and Nephrology in San Diego for 12 years and Aesthetic Medicine for the past 7 years. She regularly attends seminars and training programs to enhance her Aesthetic Medicine knowledge and techniques to bring the best possible solutions to her patients’ areas of concern. When not attending to the needs of her patients, Angelica practices yoga at every opportunity and loves to travel.

Liza is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing aesthetic medicine since May of 2017. She received her MSN/FNP degree from the University of San Diego and her Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. Liza has a strong passion for the practice of Aesthetic Dermatology. She routinely attends aesthetic conferences/trainings to sharpen her skills and stay up to date with the latest techniques. Ever since Liza began injecting fillers and Botox she fell in love with the artistic side of helping clients achieve their desired goals. Liza also has a strong background in family practice and has practiced multiple years serving the medical needs of students at Miramar, Miracosta and Palomar community colleges.

Jennifer is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in a variety of cosmetic injectable and non-surgical laser procedures.  Born and raised in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada, Jennifer graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in 2000. She came to San Diego in 2004 as a travelling nurse and returned to school in 2015 to obtain her Master’s of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University Global.  She has been working as an aesthetic nurse since 2006 and prides in her ability to listen to patients and help them achieve their aesthetic goals. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going to the beach, walking the dog and running.

Leilani Sutherland is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been perfecting her aesthetic training since 2015. She received her BSN from Chico State University and her MSN/FNP from Holy Names University of Oakland, CA. She has a passion for maintaining optimal skin health and spent 9 months of clinical preceptorship in medical dermatology while in her FNP program. Leilani is committed to providing the most optimal results that each patient desires with gentleness and precision. While not at the office, Leilani enjoys spending time with her Pomeranians, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and spontaneous adventures with friends. She is thrilled to be a part of the Revive team where she can help her clients achieve the best version of themselves through commitment and passion.

Kim has been a Physician Assistant since 2000. After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Kim attended the Physician Assistant Program at Des Moines University. Kim’s focus since 2000 has been in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She has worked with multiple laser systems and the latest techniques in injectable fillers. Kim’s experience, attention to detail and commitment to providing the most natural results are a perfect reflection of our standards at Revive. Kim volunteers her time in non profit organizations that serve underprivileged families locally and internationally.

Kathleen has been in the medical field since 1993 as a respiratory therapist and registered nurse. She has been in the aesthetic arena since 2004 and a member of the Revive Med Spa since 2008. Kathleen specializes in injectables such as Botox, Juvéderm, Voluma and Sculptra, as well as lasers. She is also a Nurse Injector Trainer for Allergan, educating nurses on how to acheive the best results with injections and the proper procedures.

Tracy enjoys her position as an Aesthetic RN. She is continually learning about new aesthetic techniques and truly enjoys the rapport she has with her clients. Her goal, during treatment, is to create a personalized plan to help each client achieve their desired results. When not working, Tracy loves spending time with her children. Her other passions are reading and hiking with her dogs. Tracy received her degree as a Registered Nurse at the Grossmont College School of Nursing in 2013. Rachel is a skilled nurse injector who takes pride in her work and strives for excellence in both a cosmetic result and patient experience. She has worked alongside a National Peer-to-Peer Trainer for Galderma, Inc. and Diamond Injector for Allergan for over six years in Dallas, Texas. She has worked in the aesthetics since 2012 gaining experience with multiple modalities and a passion for Botox and fillers. She graduated with her RN with honors from the Collin College Nursing Program in Texas and will graduate with her BSN from Texas Tech in 2018. Nicole attended Kaplan College, graduating in 2011.  She decided to pursue her career in Aesthetic Medicine and began working with several top Allergan Medical Spas before joining Revive. Nicole strives to provide each client with informed options while administering thorough, attentive care. Her specialties include dermal fillers, laser treatments and microneedling, as well as skincare and skin rejuvenation. Nicole will be continuing her education in Spring 2019 to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Amy has been an RN since 2000. She has 16 years experience in the NICU and has worked as an aesthetic nurse at Revive since 2008. After taking a leave of absence to get married and have two healthy children, Amy has now decided to return to Revive! She is certified in Neurotoxin (Botox/Dysport) Injections, Laser Hair Removal, Micropen and Photofacials. From enhancing facial features to treating skin conditions, Amy loves to see the transformation of her clients as they reach their desired goals.

Kayla Hillygus is an Aesthetic Registered Nurse who specializes in various non-surgical laser and injectable treatments to restore youth and health to the skin. Kayla holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from CSU Fullerton, along with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. She graduated Sigma Theta Tau from her graduate program and as a Dean’s List Candidate from her undergraduate education. She was Valedictorian of her high school class, 2005 Taft Oil Dorado Queen as a Kiwanis Club representative, and Miss Bakersfield’s Miss Congeniality. Over the past 7 years as a nurse and certified specialist, Kayla has treated thousands of cosmetic patients with great success. Kayla considers herself an artist and finds great purpose in helping people feel good about themselves. Kayla lives in Oceanside with her husband of 8 years and their 3 year old little boy. You will rarely find her not smiling!

Emily has been an aesthetic nurse since graduating from National University with a BSN in 2011. Emily owned a medical spa in Hillcrest for 7 years prior to joining Revive. She brings a whole system thinking approach to her clients while ensuring safe and effective outcomes. Her management background and customer services ensure all of her clients have a pleasant experience while receiving the highest quality of care. In her free time Emily enjoys walking her dogs at the beach and going to live music shows.

Shalane attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brookline College. She went on to work in the Operating Room and circulated for numerous surgeries for several years. After visiting San Diego on a vacation, she decided to leave her home in Alaska and job in the O.R. to pursue her true passion in Aesthetics. Prior to joining the Revive team, Shalane worked with another leading Allergan Medical Spa. She takes pride in providing safety, individualized patient-centered care and obtaining desired results while also building that “family” connection. Shalane specializes in Skin Rejuvenation, Facial Lasers, Laser Hair Removal and Cosmetic Injectables (Neuromodulators and Filler). Outside of making patients feel pretty, Shalane enjoys rollerblading, watching basketball and spending time at the beach.

Sheena has over 15 years of aesthetic experience. Her career started as an esthetician and independent business owner. As her love for beauty grew, so did her education. Once Sheena became a nurse she immediately worked in the aesthetic dermatology industry specializing in cosmetic injectables and a wide variety of laser treatments. Prior to joining Revive, Sheena worked as a clinical trainer and lead clinician at another leading Allergan aesthetic office. When Sheena is not working she loves hiking, paddle boarding and roller blading with her husband and children.

Emily graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Abilene Christian University in Texas and is currently continuing her education at West Coast University to obtain her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Her artistic eye combined with her love for patient care instilled her passion for aesthetic nursing. She is adept with dermal fillers, neurotoxins, a variety of lasers, and all things skincare. She specializes in lips and facial contouring, and she loves to take her patients on a aesthetic journey to help them reach their goals. In her free time, she likes to hangout with her dogs, hike, surf, and tap into her artistic side off-the-clock as well through painting and drawing.

Olga Brener graduated from the Los Angeles Valley College nursing program and received her BSN from the University of Phoenix. She is certified by the American Association of Aesthetics and keeps her aesthetic trainings up to date. She has two years experience in the acute care settings of a community hospital in Los Angeles and a year as an Operation Room nurse at Enhance Plastic Surgery Center in Beverly Hills. She is fluent in the Russian language and honed her communication and interpersonal skills during her experience in the customer service industry prior to becoming a nurse. She offers her cosmetic patients a unique combination of experience, knowledge, and personal attention. She has over a year of experience in the field of Aesthetic Nursing; her areas of expertise include non-surgical facial rejuvenation with Botox, fillers and lasers. She has the drive to succeed and an innate ability to provide safe care. Olga consistently strives to exceed the expectations of her patients and colleagues.

Angela has been an esthetician since 2005, and has been a medical esthetician at Revive since 2007. She graduated from Je Boutique College of Beauty and has post graduate training with The International Dermal Institute and SkinMedica. Angela has extensive training in advanced facial massage, photo damaged and aging skin, acne and melasma. She loves being an esthetician because of the wonderful and lasting relationships she has developed with colleagues and clients.

As a licensed esthetician since 2008, Kaitlin has been helping people love the skin they are in. She specializes in peels, waxing, microdermabrasion and acne facials. Her mission has always been to help her guests achieve their skin care goals in a relaxing and healing environment.
