Meet Registered Nurse Sydney Chase Revive Med Spa

We asked Registered Nurse Sydney a few questions about her and her role here at Revive, keep reading to learn more!

Why did you want to become an aesthetics nurse?

Aesthetics never really crossed my mind in nursing school but the moment I got a needle in my hand at my first job as an aesthetic nurse I knew there was no going back. It was like in Harry Potter when his wand chose him… it just clicked!

What treatments do you specialize in?

Lips are my specialty, but a full-face rejuvenation with filler is a game-changer. Aesthetics wouldn’t be complete without laser facials either, so I’ll always have that as part of my practice. Of course, there is also Botox… they all work together!

What makes Revive differently?

Revive is different because we are always putting the patient first. We will always make appropriate recommendations and answer all of your questions before taking the next step in your treatment plan. Having the best equipment and products out there is also a huge benefit. I’m confident the treatments and product recommendations will show amazing results!

Products you can’t live without?

SPF, Vitamin C, and Retinol

SPF all day every day! Don’t have a favorite, but tend to use physical/mineral sunscreens.

For my vitamin C, I use the Obagi C-Clarifying Serum with 4% Hydroquinone… it’s a prescription, but I have melasma so I need it!! HQ requires taking a break from that product, so I also use the SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF and SkinMedica’s Lytera 2.0 that I LOVE.

The retinol I use is the Skin Medica 1%… if you’re just starting retinol stick with the .25 or .5 and work your way up.

What’s a piece of med spa advice that you wished you learned sooner?

I may not be saving lives or delivering babies, but I am still making a difference that matters. Once I realized that my confidence skyrocketed!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Spending time with my family, thankfully most are in San Diego! I also have a (healthy) addiction to Orange Theory so I’m definitely there a few days a week.

What is something not a lot of people know about you?

I don’t love reading books, but love listening to them on audible!
